AI in Scientific Research Survey 2026
This survey examines how researchers adopt AI tools and workflows across dimensions including tool ecosystems, computing infrastructure, ethical concerns, and institutional policy.
Artificial intelligence is transforming not just the speed but the core practices of scientific research — from hypothesis generation and data analysis to literature search and code writing. This survey aims to map how researchers engage with AI tools, how much they trust them, and to what extent institutional support is provided, through a technical lens.
All responses are collected anonymously and will be used solely for scientific analysis and reporting. Results will contribute to academic publications and policy reports documenting the research community's relationship with the AI ecosystem.
